Missionary Prayer Focus for the Week
Alan Russell, Director of America Chaplaincy — As Director of Chaplaincy, Allen seeks to be a resource for chaplains that are in active duty with the military and non-military chaplains who serve with medical centers, prisons, nursing homes, law enforcement, campus ministries and others. He also works with chaplain candidates as they finish their schooling and other requirements. Alan and his wife Carol have 2 married children and 5 grandchildren.
In his last update he states: “Happy New Year from our chaplaincy family! According to the Mayan calendar this is the big year. USA Newspaper has listed the ten best places to leave from when this worlds ends December 21. I am with the disciple John when he said in Revelations, ‘Even so come Lord Jesus.’ It would be great if this is the year. We still have a lot of work to do reaching others in Christ … I am reminded of the words of Jesus when He told His followers ‘to work for the night is coming when no man can work.’ Keep working for the Lord this New Year.”

Pray that the Christian students and staff would be a light for Christ.
Pray for the overall safety of the school.
Pray that the students would be delivered from temptations and not fall
away from God.
Community Focus — Local Fire Fighters and Paramedics
Pray for the safety and protection of those who serve in our community. Pray for those who are Christians to be strong and bold in their faith
and values.
Ministry Focus — Neighborhood Outreach Team
Pray that more of our BBC family would be motivated to join a team that will
reach out to our neighbors.
